When Creativity Has Been Pushed Aside and Finally Finds Its Way Back

A real student story from the 111 Angel Painting Experience.

There comes a moment when creativity starts whispering again.

Not because life has slowed down but because something inside you is ready to be remembered.

This is the story of a woman who returned to creativity after a long pause and painted her very first angel.

Watch her story.

If her story stirred something in you, the Angel Painting Club is a gentle, supportive space for women who want to paint angels, reconnect with creativity, and create without pressure or comparison.

“I Needed Something to Get Back Into Creativity”

Before joining the 111 Angel Painting Experience, she shared that she had been trying, for a long time, to force herself back into creativity.

Nothing worked.

What she truly wanted wasn’t just to paint.

She longed for connection, fellowship with other like-minded women who create and a safe place to release what had been quietly held inside her for years.

When this opportunity appeared, she listened to the nudge…

and she grabbed it.

“The First Day, I Cried.”

After the very first session, something unexpected happened.

She cried.

Not out of frustration but because it was so emotional to finally see the creativity that was still inside her.

The parts that had been pinned up.

Pushed to the back.

Covered over by life.

She says it so beautifully:

“When you finally get a chance to release it… it’s beautiful.”

She talks about looking at her angel painting, and quietly saying:

“God, thank you.”

Not because it was perfect but because it reminded her of who she is.

Creativity Doesn’t Leave — It Waits

So many women believe they’ve “lost” their creativity.

But what I see again and again in my angel painting classes is this:

Creativity doesn’t disappear. It waits until it feels safe enough to return.

If you’ve been:

  • pushing your creativity aside

  • feeling blocked or disconnected from your art

  • craving spiritual connection through creativity

  • longing for a gentle way to begin again

There is nothing wrong with you.

You may simply be ready for a more nurturing path back.

Why She Chose to Join the Angel Painting Club

After completing the 111 Angel Painting Experience, she didn’t want to push creativity to the background again.

She wanted:

  • continued guidance for painting angels

  • a consistent creative rhythm

  • a supportive, judgment-free community

  • space to express what had been hidden for too long

That’s why she chose to join the Angel Painting Club and why this space exists.
